Plan, organize and coordinate the implementation of revenue generating programs in the area of Defensive Driving, Alive At 25, Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS), Seat Belt Online course and Tow Truck Certification.Oversee the instruction of the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Courses, evaluate instructors, Instruct and recertify instructors credentials yearly to maintain high standards, and uniformity of instruction.In charge of instruction and scheduling DDC in 13 cities in the State, coordinate with Utah Driver’s License Division the use of the National Safety Council DDC program for point reduction. Travel throughout the state to audit DDC & AA25 Instructors, develop and maintain program budget, set up technology for classes, troubleshoot online problems when arise, registering student online, mailing mass certifications, scheduling instructors and classes, assisting agencies in implementing programs, coordinating Online DDC completions and creating reports to notify the Driver License Division for point reduction, etc.

Answer phone inquiries promptly and accurately, assist students with class registrations and tuition payments, help and direct all walk-ins, also assist staff and faculty members on miscellaneous projects, work on reconciliation of payment card, maintain inventory of supplies, order office supplies and biology lab supplies, reconcile third party payments, leave slips and mail distribution, organization of student appreciation week, take meeting minutes, crossed trained as a TA (Teacher’s Assistant) knowledgeable of the technology in IVC (interactive Video Conferencing) classrooms in the center and proctor tests for students.

In charge of the Front Desk, answering 8 phone lines, helping every person that came in, running employees information through DHS/ E-Verify to check eligibility to work in the U.S.A., check all the paperwork and ensure that it’s filled out correctly, assign my coworkers with interviews, doing 5 and 9 panel Drug Screens on our employees, Data Entry and Filing, placing employees on assignments according to their skills and work experience, helping customers with questions and job orders, running Back Ground Checks and also doing Spanish interviews.
