About Daniela Torres Campana, Phd

I am a passionate biologist currently looking for new opportunities in the biotechnological industry.Originally from Quito-Ecuador, I moved to France to pursue higher education. After obtaining a Master’s degree, I earned a doctoral fellowship to continue my research project on epigenomic regulation of gene expression. I was overjoyed since I found fascinating the fact that despise having the same genetic information, cells in an organism can acquire so different identities and functions. During my PhD I studied the role of several chromatin factors in the activation of an essential gene at fertilization.I strengthened my molecular biology training and developed skills in the study of the epigenome, gene expression analysis, sequencing data analysis and confocal microscopy. Additional to my technical skills, my PhD helped me improve my management, writing and communication skills. I am highly motivated, organized, adaptive and a team player.
