My mother's family is from Panama and my father’s family moved to Anthony, New Mexico from Chihuahua, Mexico. I have been fortunate enough to visit both sides of my family annually and be exposed to Latino culture both inside the US and in Panama. Being raised by a non-native English speaking parent and also in San Antonio, with its diverse population, drove me to notice the importance of designing products and services with a diverse population in mind, and to promote inclusive experiences that are intuitive to all kinds of users.
