Senior Naval Architect

Freelance

Most of my jobs as a freelancer have been using numerical models to analyse the response of offshore structures under a variety of environmental and load conditions. The key jobs include assessing the capacity of the ships operating in marine oil terminals by using the seakeeping data of different tankers and building the complete system using OrcaFlex. Additionally, I investigated the response of the terminal under survivability and normal operating conditions for a specific tanker ship.

The second was coordinating the feasibility analysis of a new CBM (Conventional Buoy Mooring) for 80.000 DWT tankers for the national oil company. During the latter, I organised and hired a group of professionals working on the project (over ten people), oversaw the fieldwork and assembled and delivered the final report to the client.Projects:"Design of a new CBM (Conventional Buoy Mooring) for 80,000 DWT tankers for PETROECUADOR.""Evaluation of the structural integrity of two PLEMs and their SPOOLs of two Monobuoys of OCP - Ecuador".
