Passionate and dedicated to the field of geology, I have recently completed my studies at Universidad de Los Andes in Mérida, Venezuela, earning a degree in Geological Engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed key skills and distinguished myself through the creation of a research article on geothermal energy, showcasing my commitment to exploring new frontiers in the field. My practical experience includes serving as a teaching assistant in the petrography laboratory, applying theoretical knowledge in a hands-on setting to facilitate the learning of my peers.Simultaneously, I actively engage in various extracurricular activities that enhance my university experience and refine my leadership and teamwork skills. As the President of the student chapter of the AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) at the University of the Andes, I led initiatives to foster a geoscience community within our university. We organized workshops, seminars, and field trips, providing students with practical experiences and industry insights.Additionally, I held the role of Student Representative to the Office of Student Affairs (DAES), acting as a liaison between students and university administration. This position provided valuable insights into the challenges students face and offered me the opportunity to advocate effectively for their needs and concerns.Furthermore, I served as the General Coordinator within the MIULA (Student Movement of the University of Los Andes) student movement. In this capacity, I orchestrated various events and campaigns aimed at promoting student welfare and advocating for educational reforms. I am excited to continue my journey in geology, exploring new academic opportunities, and contributing to the advancement of science in this fascinating field.
