Hello, my name is Daniel Araujo. I am a first generation Hispanic American who grew up in southern California. My career interests first sparked when I was 17 years old, right before I graduated highschool. During this time, I started doing my own research into the stock market and understanding all of the fascinating mechanism that affect the market. This is where my passion for finance and business started.I was enthralled by how economics effects society and the aggregate stock market. I started perusing my career interests by joining the LBCC Business club in my local community college to have a more in-depth understanding of business operations. I soon acquired the executive role of marketing and event management in the organization to support my fellow club mates. During this time, I learned important skills like business communication, marketing, event management, leadership and networking skills. As my education at LBCC came to a end, I set my focus on the next step of my career, graduating from San Diego State University. Before I transfered to San Diego State University, I started researching for numerous business related organizations that I can be a part of, and when I started my first semester at the university, I joined numerous business and finance organizations such as Finance and Investing Society, Hispanic Business Student Association, Real estate Society and Entrepreneurship Society. During my stay here in San Diego State University, I have acquired valuable hard and soft skills from the organizations that I have been apart of and will continue to develop these skills throughout my stay here in university.I am eager to finally put my skills and knowledge to the test by applying these skills to real world!
