About Daniela Beltran B
I am a photographer and filmmaker with a strong passion for visual storytelling and communication. Through my work I portray realities related to environmental and cultural conservation, human rights, and social change. Working with non-profit organizations in the fields of climate change, nature preservation, and anthropology, nationally and internationally expanded my understanding of our complex global context and collective challenges. Through research, communication and education we can highlight the core issues that underline our current crisis, as well as the innovative grassroots initiatives that are growing as a response to it.I am currently studying a masters degree in Sociology in Universitat de Barcelona, Cataluña. My line of research is in extractivism, socioenvironmental conflicts, and climate change, from a world system perspective.
