I am working towards my goal of being a data scientist and creating solutions to today's problems through data! I am a student in Brigham Young University's Statistics: Data Science Bachelors program and plan to continue my education in graduate school.I embrace being surrounded by data and continue to pursue my passion for data storytelling beyond academia. As President of the Data Science Association at BYU, I get to nurture the Data Science Community at and beyond campus. As a Data Analyst for BYU Broadcasting I get to work on various projects that influence business decisions for various BYU TV and Radio teams while developing my skills in various platforms. As a teaching assistant for the GE level Statistics class, I had the opportunity to show students, that assumed that would hate statistics, the power in understanding data. As a data analyst I have the chance to learn various tools and practice my dashboarding and SQL skills daily. As a person that still cannot get enough, I attend every workshop and conference I can fit in to my schedule!
