•Perform intake, biopsychosocial assessments, and mental wellness counselling to residents of Thorncliffe Park experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, family discord, domestic abuse, self-harm, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse, etc. •Work collaboratively and in consultation with Primary Health Care Team and community partners, including psychiatrists and psychologists from Michael Garron Hospital, settlement agencies, and local schools to deliver appropriate treatment plan to clients. •Deliver psycho-educational workshops on topics including stress management, healthy relationships, and mental health (Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD)•Provide information, referrals, assistance and advocacy in housing, income security, food security, settlement and continuing education to address social detriments of health of clients•Assist in the planning and implementation of group programs, self-sustainable community initiatives, and health education/promotion programs•Deliver trauma arts-based group program to school aged children coming from oppressive and/or war-torn regimes.

Coordinated movement of 1000+ people on the sports arena during the ceremony.
