Responsible for the web engineering team (~30 people) that supports more than 20 web properties across five scrum teams. Responsible for the software delivery lifecycle. Responsible for the management of engineers and vendors that provide project management, business analysis, engineering, and quality assurance support for our operations. The main point of contact to all web-related topics across different teams including PMO, Marketing, CRM, Media, IT, Business Applications, and Business Intelligence. Main accomplishments:- Creation of a “GO” roadmap.- Creation of technical product roadmaps (4). Executives communication and prioritization. - Evaluation and selection of CMS, UI Framework, monitoring software, and logging software to support software standardization across all web properties.- Creation of processes for efficient software delivery: introduction of Sprint Reviews and Sprint Reports, release management process, incident management process, documentation process, monitoring systems, security scans, and bugs management process, among others.- Standardization of infrastructure architecture, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and introducing functional automation. - New build for cordblood.com delivered on time, with new technology stack and infrastructure.Main responsibilities:- Engineering manager. - Budgeting and resourcing. - Technical oversight, technical evaluation, and decision-maker. - Technical Product Owner, technical product roadmaps, high-level timelines.- Process improvement. - Audit and monitor all properties to ensure quality, uptime, and opportunities for improvement. - Facilitator for cross-team integration communications (Salesforce, MSDynamics, etc.)- Be an active member of a scrum team when necessary: managing JIRA, creating documentation, designing technical solutions, supporting troubleshooting, doing code reviews, management releases, and communicating to stakeholders.
