Years ago, in high school we were given tests to help us decide which college degree to study, my results were: Business, Nutrition and Medicine. Today I’m pursuing an MBA part time, I’m a Business Development Manager at a construction company and the Owner/Dietitian of my independent health office. During my MBA’s interview at EGADE Business School the recruiter told me “You are the first person in this Business School that decides to study an MBA after having a Nutrition degree” with surprise and joy as she mentioned the importance of diversity. That was the moment when I first understood the association of my decision. My passion for nutrition and health came from wanting to help people become productive and efficient. Back in college, I started a successful health program, in which I worked with employees encouraging them to live a healthier lifestyle and reduce absences. I've been strongly motivated since. After having the opportunity to work at the construction company, I discovered my love for business management. I developed a need and curiosity to know more on the subject at work. This is when I decided to start my MBA. I'm always excited about gaining new knowledge and achieving the best results I can. I've never been someone that settles and conforms.I consider that my experiences and networking have led me to the curious person I’m today. I love learning, teaching, sharing what I know, creating content and motivating people who unconsciously motivate me on a daily basis. I’ve luckily met numerous people in different countries along the way, with very different interests and culture. This has helped me grow and supplement my thought process and work; for this… I’m very grateful.
