Reporting to the HR Director, I am in charge of all activities related to Human Resources issues within the site and within the supported organization. I actively support the line manager in order to achieve the business objectives through the effective recruitment, training, development & recognition of employees, maintain positive employee relations and guarantee the compliance with legislation and company policies.

As part of an international team, I drive a team of resource brokers and manage the allocation of the company’s human resources among projects or business units to make the best possible use of available personnel in order to realize company goals.

Hired with a mandate to maintain and further develop HR policies, to implement changes on issues arising from Labor Legislation and Corporate policy, to manage contracts of employment, salaries and benefits, as well as recruitment and performance appraisals. I’ve managed the hiring of about 300 people and the transition of 97 people. Responsible of the new-hire training, including leading 3 training sessions and tutoring new employees. In the past years we focused on: job code review, compensation plan, performance evaluation, hiring process. Now we are focusing on practices that are not that much utilized, but nevertheless affect people’s general feeling, like acclimation and recognition and we moved to a performance management process.Among my experiences in EDS are worthy to mention two transitions, an outsourcing initiative, a workforce restructuring initiative and a Benchmarking project, additionally I’ve been involved in new business opportunity’s analysis.

Strictly linked with the leaders of the Service Lines, supports the implementation of the Workforce Transformation initiatives with the the objective to analyze EDS’s labor pool, in terms of skills, qualifications, age, geographic distribution and costs and to reduce the number of contractors in use in EDS through the employment of idle resources

Assigned to the Human Resources unit, I’ve been working with Labor Legislation and National Labor Contract Management answering employees and managers requests.I’ve been also involved in Recruiting activities, Acclimation Training and Performance Evaluation process.
