I love travelling and have been doing so for as long as I can remember. Since high school, I have regularly spent long periods abroad to perfect my language skills. After finishing university, I gained work experience in Europe, including 6 years in Copenhagen (DK) with an American organization, where I did simultaneous and consecutive translation and interpreting for national events, conventions, meetings, seminars, etc. I taught with passion for a few years at an international high school, also in Copenhagen. I have also had numerous experiences in other European countries and in the United States. I have translated for important personalities from the world of film, business, art and culture, including on film sets, during television interviews, national events and international exhibitions. For the last ten years or so I have been a member of the Steering Committee of the Department of European Languages and Cultures of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where, together with representatives of other leading names in the business world, I strive to make my professional contribution as constructively as possible, so that the University's educational offer in the field of languages is able to meet the demands of the labour market. I am an impassioned volunteer in the field of human rights. Since 2008, I have been the national project manager for the Human Rights Artists Project of the Organisation for Human Rights and Tolerance. I have participated in television and radio in discussions and interviews on the dissemination of human rights and on human rights violations. I have presented numerous national charity events aimed at the dissemination and protection of universal rights, most recently at the United Nations in Geneva. I have translated numerous books that have subsequently been published. I have tutored over 200 trainees from the best European universities (45 Italian and foreign universities). Today I am CEO of Kosmos, which I founded in 1992 in Reggio Emilia. KOSMOS offers services in 165 language combinations: translations, interpreting, voiceovers, multilingual layouts and graphics, language courses and international survey services. KOSMOS has offices not only in Italy, but also in the rest of the world. Since 1992, the number of satisfied customers has reached 9,000, with a total of 64,000 language projects carried out and 283 million words translated, and the number of professional translators and interpreters the company employs has grown to around 3,000.
