I finished my masters in Biomedical Engineering, specialized in Medical Electronics, in the University of Minho, in 2011. I did two years of scientific research in the neuroscience field, performing work in the EEG processing area. After that, I was an intern at Critical Software where I worked on medical devices and aviation projects, performing verification and validation. At Critical Software I also started my career as a Quality Assurance Engineer, working with test plans, test specifications, requirements analysis, manual testing, and quality documentation.At Farfetch I started working as a Quality Assurance Engineer on both frontend and backend teams using agile methodologies. Currently, as an Engineer Lead, I lead a Software team with both developers and quality assurance engineers. Throughout my career as an Engineer Lead, at Farfetch, I led also Quality Assurance teams and Software development teams with different dimensions and maturity levels.I like to work on constantly guaranteeing a good work environment and also to help provide the means to enable personal evolution and continuous improvement. Working towards the quality of the deliveries and the process is one of the pillars that guides my work.
