Here's for an interesting position: a Marketing Director in the Market Research industry. So what do I do? Do I do marketing or do I do market research? As it turns out I have done both. In 2004, I started my career in market research as a project manager. In 2007, I founded SmartPoint Research, a company primarily known for exceptional field services and recruitment which I subsequently sold in 2015. During my time as President of SmartPoint Research, I had the opportunity to innovate and change how respondents were recruited for qualitative research, a powerful and effective method that MD Analytics uses today. I also had the opportunity to become an MRIA and RIVA trained moderator and moderated many focus groups for a number of consumer brands.During my career with MD Analytics, I have held the role of Field Operations Director which allowed me to learn the EOS method and mentor an incredible fieldwork team. After mat leave with my second child, I was able to design a new role as Marketing Director in order to help MD Analytics grow. MD Analytics is a leading healthcare and pharmaceutical market research agency. Over the past two decades, MD Analytics has grown to be one of the largest and most respected research agencies in Canada, being recognized for exceptional quality in reporting and client services. In 2020, the company announced its expansion into the U.S. market and we are in the process of growing our U.S. based clients services and research team.
