Provides technical leadership, mentoring and coaching to assigned Lean Six Sigma Black Belts, Green Belts or other personnel as part of their project management and personal development.Verifies that DMAIC, KT and Lean methodologies and tools are being properly applied to projects.Consults on projects with regard to project direction, financial and quality improvement opportunities and suitability as a Six Sigma project.Works with operating unit or department to ensure Continuous Improvement goals are being met..Conducts training and education for Lean Six Sigma Black Belts, Green Belts and Champions following the Johnson Controls Leadership Institute model.Assists Champions in the identification of project opportunities and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt candidates.Reviews project status with assigned Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and Champions and provides counsel and advice on the use of Six Sigma tools and methodology.Assures assigned Lean Six Sigma Black Belts are kept informed of new developments/approaches in Six Sigma methodology.Looks for opportunities to recognize and publicize the accomplishments of assigned Lean Six Sigma Black Belts.Lead projects independently or with the help of a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt(s).
