About Daniela Longo
Se dovessi descrivermi con tre aggettivi sicuramente direi creativa, espansiva e sempre in movimento. Da piccola ho sempre adorato leggere e scrivere, ma la mia più grande passione è la scienza. Per questo ho conseguito prima una laurea in biotecnologie farmaceutiche e poi un dottorato di ricerca in epilettologia sperimentale. Abbandonata la carriera universitaria, ho sviluppato le mie conoscenze in ambito clinico lavorando per quasi dieci anni in una CRO. Qui ho sviluppato le mie competenze manageriali e ho sviluppato la consapevolezza di voler unire le mie storiche passioni (scrittura e scienza) in una nuova professione, il medical writing. Per cinque anni ho inoltre approfondito il campo della comunicazione scientifica verso il pubblico generale, grazie ad una partnership con una società leader nel settore, in particolare verso famiglie e bambini. Ho gestito e realizzato, eventi, formazione docenti e educazione hands-on. Sono una delle autrici della Guida Galattica al Coronavirus, piccolo albo illustrato tradotto in oltre 30 lingue.Adoro esplorare con sguardo curioso tutte le novità in ambito salute e comunicazione.
