Former dancer & tennis player, Daniela is the first woman of her family to complete higher education. She is driven by a profound belief that no life should be left behind due to one's zip code or family background. With over a decade of social impact volunteering and 8-year of working as a Consultant & Project Manager, Daniela developed, managed, and measured Sustainability-related policies and initiatives to companies operating in various industries, across knowledge areas of business strategy, philantrophy and impact investing, community engagement, carbon neutrality, education, and diversity & inclusion - both at a national- and international development- level.Today, she is responsible for developing and reporting an automated system that provides a complete overview of the Portuguese Government, while being a PhD Candidate at Open Universiteit on what intricacies of systems change act as a pivotal lever for strategic decision-making toward effective, scalable impact. Particularly, she aims to narrow down her studies to the financial instrument of Social Impact Bonds.Daniela's journey includes an MA in Arts and Heritage: Policy, Education, and Management from Maastricht University, specializing in the role of the arts for social inclusion, complemented by a BSc in Management at Nova SBE, where she worked as a Research Assistant for NOVAFRICA Knowledge Center.I am also a proud Space Camp Turkey Alumna!
