Hey, how are ya? As you can see, I created a service called “Dog Walker & Pet Sitter” in order to help people make their dogs comfy and happy; providing them all the needs in their daily basis. I have a thing for dogs. I respect them, they respect me back, we love each other! I want to work with dogs for the rest of my life and in order for me to do that I need to understand them – the behaviors for example. But understanding a dog and how you can make him a happy and a healthy dog you have to know more than just the behaviors.But beside the diploma, I also learn things by myself: I bought a bunch of books (the “Canine Body Language: A Photographic Guide” by Brenda Aloff, “Don’t Shoot the Dog” by Karen Pryor, etc.); by watching videos, etc.There are easy ways to make your dog not to chew this, to not be running in circles, to not drag you while you try to walk him, etc. You can have your 'perfect dog', you don’t need to scream at him or hit him and neither get rid of him! People always blame the dog… So I want to help people understand them too.One of the best ways to learn is by working directly with them. I’ve done volunteering programs which enabled me to do so and now I've decided to open the “Dog Walker & Pet Sitter” service to always stay connected with them. I would like to get a vacancy such as ‘Dog Trainer Assistant’ in the future, how awesome would that be? I get the chills just by thinking about it! Funny thing...when I started all this was to, in the future, become a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor. We will see how this turns out :)
