Maintain relationships with the Intelligence Community to leverage their expertise and products, to not “reinvent the wheel,” and provide advice to agency leadership on the efficient functioning of the directorate and agency. • Established structure and provide guidance for directorate operations, including staffing, budget, and training; recruited and developed key Analysts to support the 1st teams sent to Afghanistan within 8 months of opening.• Took charge of the agency’s civilian hiring effort in February 2012, making more progress in 2 months than the agency had made in the past 2 years to push the hiring effort. Includes marketing agency to recruits, overall administration of civilian hiring in a military agency. • Developed directorate reputation for quality work within 6 months by functioning as the Latin America media analyst to support humanitarian assistance mission to Haiti in January 2010; results of work were cited by the Commanding General of Marine Forces South as a key indicator of measures of the effectiveness of the approach taken by U.S. Forces in Haiti.

Team developed systematic process which began with identification of issues, in depth analyses, solutions development and presentation to the Command and upon approval, implementation of the preferred solution throughout Corps’ training establishment. • Transformed Corps’ driver training program within 10 months to effectively train pre-deployment drivers for desert and urban conditions; program cut non-combat vehicle fatalities in Iraq from 48 over 3 years (2003 – 2006) to 7 from 2006 through 2009; overcame initial objections to launch program and gain cooperation.• Heavily involved in curriculum review of the Naval Postgraduate School’s Masters Degree Program for Information Operations and gained more emphasis for a “Marine friendly” program in conjunction with Navy’s objectives.• Recognized opportunity to compete for upcoming RFP to support a new agency, the Marine Corps Information Operations Center; assembled proposal and suggested joint venture with Northrop Grumman as a subcontractor; negotiated with Northrop Grumman and collaborated with their team to win $25M contract.
