About Daniela Porcelli

Experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the nonprofit and international affairs industry. Skilled writer with a track record for writing and winning competitive proposals for procuring company projects and revenue. Currently, I am the Sales Manager at The Justice Collective. I am passionate about human rights and eager to lend my expertise to an organization working toward positive change. At The Justice Collective, I write proposals and grants for incoming opportunities as well as lead in assessment reports and facilitation on organizational development and diversity, equity, and inclusion. In my previous position, I evaluated technical assistance projects and wrote assessment reports for the United Nations Fund for International Partnerships. My interest in gender-based violence led me to complete two research trips where I conducted interviews and focus groups on the subject. In Chilumba, Malawi, my work centered on drop-out rates of secondary school girls while in Lesvos, Greece it was on space's impact on mental health. While at the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security, I continued my work in the human rights field. Wearing many hats, I assisted in grant proposal writing and reporting, planning annual events such as Strategic Planning and the Open Debate on Sexual Violence in Conflict, and conducting research. Leveraging my communications skills, I've managed social media and webpages for many organizations and created content. My work on a media package for UNRWA resulted in an Outstanding Practicum Award.Prior to entering the international affairs field, I developed my skills in various positions at CUNY Queensborough Community College. Beginning as an assistant and working my way up to a becoming supervisor, I consistently advocated for the rights of all students at the institution, making information and workshops available to them. Here, I served as a project manager, training and guiding my team, and a communications specialist.I am a skilled researcher, writer, and communicator. How can I help your team?
