Daniel Aqleh is an Palestinian Arab Christian from Bethlehem, Palestine who is deeply committed to the possibility of peace.As a peace activist Daniel has found ways of putting his passion into action and has been involved in many peace activities in Palestine and Israel. NGOs that he has worked with include the Abrahamic Reunion, Jerusalem Hug, The Sulha Way, Leading Leaders for Peace and Visit Palestine. These grass root organizations are committed to pursuing their mandates non-violently. Daniel believes the solution for the Palestinian Israeli conflict is dialogue between people, building relationships, and for each group to increasingly move toward understanding the reality of the other.At Bethlehem Bible College Daniel was employed as the Support Officer. His computer expertise is vital in keeping the web site information current and engaging, and in tutorial support faculty. He also fills the role of Student Liaison Officer, assisting students in their applications for scholarships. Daniel also provides Arabic/English translation for lectures and devotions. Prayer & Healing Church is Daniel’s home church where he leads worship and occasionally preaches. This church responds to local unemployment by reaching out into the community with helpful support such as food and clothing. As an independent church, it relies on internal donations to facilitate this ministry. Daniel has a BA of Music degree from Messenger College in Joplin, Missouri, and a MA in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at the Bethlehem Bible College. He has taken courses in Christian Counseling, Trauma and Interpreting the Arab Israeli conflict. Recently he got a Tour Guide DiplomaOnline Advisor & Counsellor on buying online and PayPal services.
