Fires and Sustainable Development | February 2020 (current) Main Responsibilities: monitoring, geospatial analysis and management of fires in the Amazon and Pantanal regions, using earth observation products; studies on sustainable development and bioeconomy in the Amazon; articulation and support to local partners. I work with project management, remote sensing, GIS and PostgreSQL applications. I have also worked with hydrological and deforestation monitoring projects in the Amazon.Leadership:  Substitute coordinator. Role: management and planning. Team: 4 geospatial analysts + 4 interns + 1 administrative. Leader of the project that launched the Amazon Fire Panel (http://paineldofogo.sipam.gov.br/), an important tool that supports forest firefighting dispatch. Role: management, system design and fire modeling. Team: 4 geospatial analysts + 5 IT analysts + 3 interns. Leader of a study on fire dynamics in the Amazon. Role: management, geospatial and contextual fire analysis, elaboration of Technical Report. Team: 3 geospatial analysts. Leader of a spatial hydrology study on algal blooms in Pará. Role: management, geospatial analysis and preparation of Technical Report. Team: 2 geospatial analysts + 3 interns.

Technological Innovation | October 2018 to January 2020Main Responsibilities: sustainability in public administration; 2030 Agenda; metrology and sustainability systems; negotiation of agreements and partnership with companies; moderation of design thinking and design sprint workshops; project development; innovation management; organization of innovation events.Leadership: leader of an interdisciplinary team (8 people) focused on 2030 Agenda.Chemical and Thermal Metrology | June 2016 to October2018 Main Responsibilities: evaluation of industrial sustainability systems (mainly chemical processes); studies on the application of metrology for sustainability (indicators, composite indexes and multivariate statistical analysis); life cycle and water footprint assessment; INMETRO’s representation at international congresses on metrology and sustainability.Leadership: coordinator of the Water Footprint Assessment project, subordinated to the Green Economy project in Latin America; INMETRO representative in the Comunidad de practica sobre huella de agua en América Latina.

Energy and Climate Change | August 2014 to May 2016 Main Responsibilities: projects involving GHG emissions inventory, GHG emissions estimation, calculation of changes in carbon stock associated with land use and land use change, climate risks, and climate change adaptation.

Basic Engineering/Process Design - PPEP (Production of E&P Processes - Process Team) - CENPES.Fields: elaboration of offshore process plants; process simulation; project documents.

Technology & Business Opportunities Prospecting • Technology Management • Business Strategy- Technology prospecting study on investment opportunities in Alcohol and Sugar Chemistry at Brazil for supporting the strategic planning of a chemical company. Performed industrial and market analysis gathering information from a variety of sources and presenting in-depth analysis on products, competitors and market conditions/ trends in a clear and concise report.
