• In my position as ‘Head of Digital Marketing’ I led ICON’s Digital Marketing Unit in which I had several employees reporting directly to me. My duties included:
• Managing and measuring the team’s output, ensuring a constant increase in the level of internal skills and abilities
• Leading all digital marketing projects for ICON’s clients, making sure that clients get clear return on investment
• Executing campaigns for ICON’s larger clients and reporting achievements directly to them, whether in Malta or abroad. Specific fields of operation include (i) planning and goal-setting, (ii) web and social media.
• Mentoring internal team members and clients on topics related to digital marketing, including Analytics, SEO and PPC
• Participating in ICON’s management team to provide recommendations of a strategic nature to foster efficiency and revenue growth

• Working on a client project with the team at Saatchi & Saatchi as part of my MSc Advanced Marketing Management, to develop the re-branding and the marketing strategy of a sports nutrition product. The project involved:
• Researching the UK market, including both desk and primary research
• Developing the product positioning
• Discussing the creative
• Planning a marketing strategy
• Identifying British online influencers
