Growing up in the Yorkshire countryside resulted in sustainability being a part of normal life. Leftover food either went to the animals or composted.In the 90s, sustainability was a focus for my father with him working on fabric made from recycled plastic bottles, being director of The Earth Centre in Doncaster and negotiated with Nissan to have the Nissan Leaf built in Sunderland.Not enough people cared about sustainability back then and most projects failed.This legacy drives me to make changes now!!
