I led platform delivery and strategy, resulting in being a 2nd time winner of an internal incentive trip and GTMC (BTA) innovation award. I designed and developed a fare assessment tooling system that automated fare benchmarking, a new service for the company. Highlights from my role include:Overhauled a legacy ERP systems database for reporting, previously resulting in increasingly inaccurate and inefficient reports, ultimately hindered the company’s ability to use data to drive decision making, identified a system gap, producing a business case, designing, scoping and implementing the solution as the first step in a data strategy Implemented an online off the shelf booking tool, effectively allowing the marketing of services, directing the development and scoping of the online booking tool for use globally, composing a fully responsible AngularJS frontend supported by a WebApi backendIntroduced an innovative quality control solution, removing a costly third-party solution that had limited functionality, providing an increase in agent accuracy resulting in a reduction in losses by 8%

I was a Systems Development Manager, responsible for supporting core ERP systems, reporting development and maintenance (MS stack), namely across internal .NET solutions. I was recognised for my contribution by winning the internal incentive trip and a BTA (formally GMTC) innovation award. I can clearly articulate requirements to develop credible solutions, extending initial requests whilst solving underlying issues. Highlights from my role include:Created a graphical flight tool to partially replace a cryptic command-based search, pushing 61% of flight booking through the system in the 1st quarter, leading to winning the BTA (formally GMTC) innovation awardLed the re-development of a new hotel booking tool, allowing hotel bookings through a custom built UI, integrating 2 external providers (1 new), with a view to redevelop the solution entirely, delivering an increase in bookings by 40% YoY and conversions by 10%Automated 4 key areas within the operations team resulting in the saving of 25mins per day per agent roughly 5 FTE Upgraded the Agresso system from a 6-year old version to the most up to date, involving updating SQL Server, full SSRS report migration, test environment creation, assessment and sign-off
