As part of the Global Procurement team, this role identifies, scopes, plans, and negotiates sourcing and purchasing improvement programs for significant segments of company spending in order to:• Drive cost savings• Improve internal operations• Help manage program implementation and on-going program management for various purchased categories and programs• Sourcing Strategy Development of several global commodities, moving from a regional mindset to a globally leveraged and managed supply base.• Organizing Global RFP / RFI events including capital manufacturing and inspection equipment.• Supporting the Global Procurement Collaboration Space (Sharepoint) as a Power User.• Also supporting the Global Capital Procurement Team and R&D Team in Total Packaging Solutions in regards to strategy development and project execution.
