As a Missile Handler at Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic, I am responsible for:o Supervising over 20 personnel in the safe handling of Trident II D5 Missiles, Tomahawk Missiles, handling gear, and other ordnance items.o Monitoring critical building environmental conditions and analyzing trend data to ensure ordnance is maintained in safe conditions.o As the Hazardous Material/ Waste Manager, I am responsible for maintaining 100% accountability of Hazardous Material/ Waste and enforcing adherence to all EPA, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and local HAZWASTE requirements. o As a certified and licensed forklift operator, I use 6,000 lb and 15,000 lb capacity forklifts to safely move ordnance material and support equipment to ensure timely completion of facility operations.

As a Missile Technician onboard the USS Nevada, SSBN 733, I was responsible for :o Supervising and conducting daily and periodic maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repairs on Trident Weapons Systems to include: electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.o Managing 3 teams of troubleshooters through critical fault isolation and repair during 6 certification events and 3 deployments.o Revising the Conventional Ordnance Handling Qualification Program and restoring it to a flawless certification and tracking system where I trained technicians in the safe handling and installation of ordnance items. o As the Calibration Program Manager, I maintained over 450 calibrated items that were tested and certified within periodicity which resulted in 100% equipment readiness during my time onboard. o As the assistant Nuclear Weapons Security Officer and Assistant Force Protection Officer, I wrote a comprehensive security plan that increased unit security by identifying weak areas in the physical security of the ship and established safeguards to prevent the ship’s security from being compromised. o As the assistant Nuclear Weapons Security Officer and Assistant Force Protection Officer, I was responsible for organizing and directing security force drills which verified that security forces were capable of responding to threats to the ship and the strategic weapons system
