After working for over ten years in Architecture, Urban Planning and Interior Design, including planning and managing architectural projects and following on-site constructions, I have discovered new skills as a Programme Manager on an after-school programme for kids. The children have taught me that I am patient and empathetic, not forgetting to be responsible and reliable. Likewise, my last position at the Southland Electorate Commission taught me that I am practical yet careful and accurate about details and attentive to foresee possible obstacles. Embracing these opportunities outside my original career makes me feel creative, resourceful, and especially connected to the community. Finally, I must add that I feel comfortable working alongside others to solve problems, even in stressful situations.

With this holistic knowledge of the election procedures, I was invited to lead the Special Votes team in sorting and processing all Special Votes for the Southland Electorate in the post-election phase.
