Based on a strong background in experimental psychology providing expertise in design, implementation, analysis and dissemination of research results. In collaboration with colleagues at Glasgow Caledonian University currently working on projects:1. to develop an instrument to understand the assessment of writing and writing development (using questionnaire data and intra-class correlation coefficient analyses);2. to characterise what enables and hinders successful cooperation between subject specialists and learning developers (using autoethnography).

My research was concerned with how people comprehend language. In the course of my PhD, I have used a number of different behavioral (e.g. cross-modal priming, forced-choice completion) and neuro-physiological (ERPs) research methods.

Prepared and gave lectures on German grammar and culture to undergraduate students (first and final year).

Prepared and led seminars on pronunciation for undergraduate and master students of the Music programme.

Responsible for evaluation and administration of students’ application forms and student files. Prepared and took minutes during staff meetings. Developed conceptual and organisational innovations with regards to the Master’s programme. Organised and supervised events such as invited presentations and workshops as well as social events such as Graduation ceremonies. Represent and advertise the Master’s programme at national and international conferences.
