Director of Applications at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center; provides leadership, vision, and direction for the clinical and non-clinical applications team within the Department of Information Systems. Direct and manage all activities related to the design, development and implementation of the organization’s applications. Works with all impacted users, in reviewing and modifying current workflows, processes and promoting best practices as well as application vendors to maintain existing applications and implement new application functionality supporting patient care and safety. Interface between, sponsors, stakeholders, staff, and vendors on all issues, requests and enhancements.

Lead project manager on all software initiatives. Works directly with CIO to analyze and strategize workflow for all areas. Evaluate/select vendor to coordinate the implementation of all CHCC software applications including selection, project management, configuration, installation, go-live, post project management, and training. Works with appropriate departments. Manages Application Specialitst staff. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health Care Center. Manages Application Specialist staff.Project manager/lead on all software initiatives.Effective liaison between IS, department heads and senior management.Keeps on going project documentation for all applicaitons including timing, tasks, and regularly communicates that to key staff and stakeholders.Primary point person for all report/information requests while working with Finance and HIM.Meets weekly with CIO to review all projects and systems.Provides comprehensive training to necessary staff on all applications.Coordinates all application upgrades, patches, backups, etc. with end users and CIO and communicates the plan to all end users.Coordinates/oversees vendor/software selection process.Completes work-flow analysis for all areas and presents opportunities to CIO.Manages IS work order system in conjunction with Application Specialists and technical team.Oversees system access process for all employees.
