As Head of Advisory, I provide outsourced Finance Director services to some of our largest clients. I provide regular commercial and strategic advice to fast growing businesses in a wide range of industries from retail, design agencies and software developers to charities and other not-for-profit organisations.By designing and delivering bespoke management reporting I can help shine a light on potential growth areas as well as warn against threats.In addition to this, I am also responsible for delivering ad hoc strategic and commercial advice to our clients as well as heading up our office in Bristol.

By being involved in every step of the finance process from simple reconciliations through to forecasts and management reports, I can provide well-rounded and inciteful advice to my clients as they look to grow their businesses.Since August 2018, I have also had the pleasure to lead a small team of trainees in our Guildford office guiding them both through their studies and helping them to deliver a high quality service to their clients.In September 2020, I relocated out of Guildford and now oversee a team of trainees in our new office in Bristol.My responsibilities include:- Preparation and submission of annual Statutory Accounts and Tax Returns for Ltd companies and LLPs.- Reviewing annual Statutory Accounts and Tax Returns prepared by trainees and advising on adjustments.- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns also dealing with Partial Exemption and Group VAT returns.- Preparation of monthly management accounts including budget variance analysis, cashflow forecasting and monthly reforecasting.- Providing in depth support as an outsourced Finance Director with monthly meetings and ongoing strategic advice.- Preparation and filing of payroll and pension submissions- Management of a team, including regular 1 on 1 coaching sessions with OpenBlend and ongoing training and support.- Bookkeeping for regular transactions through Xero, Quickbooks and Receipt Bank in addition to a range of other supporting software applications. - Payment runs for clients- Providing telephone and email support for technical queries with Xero, Quickbooks and Receipt Bank.
