• Position was that of Senior Microsoft Engineer. Responsible for guiding the strategic and technical direction of the Microsoft server platforms Exchange, OCS, Windows server. Also responsible for Infrastructure based projects and support for EMC Clariion CX4 & VMWare vSphere environment.• Numerous LDAP implementations with non-windows based platforms such as Sterling Commerce and Merkle, to authenticate through Active Directory. This involved vbscript and powershell scripting.• Performed domain upgrade from AD 2003 native mode to AD 2008R2 native domain.• Researched, Designed and Deployed Microsoft Direct Access environment to support 1000 mobile Windows 7 clients using MS UAG 2010. UAG, ISATAP & NLS servers were all built as redundant VM’s in a DRS ESX cluster.• Currently completing upgrade from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010. Design contains a 4 node, spanned DAG to our second data center in Reno, Nevada.• 3rd level support of exchange 2007 messaging environment, including Blackberry and active sync based devices, and Symantec Enterprise Vault.• Designed and implemented Vsphere 4.1 virtual center environment to be housed on DELL M1000E blade center. ESXi environment contains 10 host servers.• Performed SAN migration from EMC Clariion CX3 80 to CX4 480, SAN Disk Enclosure expansions, administration of fiber switches and zoning of servers/tape units, administration of SAN using Navisphere/Unisphere for provisioning of SAN storage to new servers.• Built an additional Active Directory 2008R2 forest to contain 12,000 user accounts to provide authentication and access to our vendors, for a number of vendor related applications.• Designed Windows 2008R2 Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment to replace aging Citrix nfuse environment. RDS environment contains 2 Web access servers, 2 RD Gateway servers, Microsoft Clustered RD Connection Broker and 3 RD Sessions hosts servers. Environment can support 600 concurrent terminal sessions.

Position is that of Senior Staff Consultant and responsible for all messaging and collaboration systems. Hired to migrate from Lotus Notes to exchange 2003, and manage the resulting exchange and messaging environment.

Responsible for all messaging related systems including design and administration of exchange network, Blackberry Servers, Antivirus, Barracuda anti-spam etc.

Main roles were that of Active Directory and Exchange/messaging design and administration for the enterprise.

Specialised in Exchange and NT/Active Directory consulting to a number of clients that outsourced to Marconi.

My role was primarily involved in optimizing the recovery and extraction of a number of different minerals during my tenure with Iluka Resources. These included Titanium based oxides, zircon, Gold, Cassiterite (Tin Oxide) and Sulfur flotation processes. Half of my role involved performing process plant surveys to increase current operational efficiencies, while the other half involved in laboratory Research and development to find new processing techniques.
