• Investigation and initial implementation of LTI 1.3 for roster and grade syncing purposes.

• Refactored the authorization and authentication layers to support the company's move from a monolith structure to distributed micro-services.
• Moved the product from a role-per-account authorization system to a more flexible system, allowing the same account to hold different roles depending on context.
• Worked on the development of a new type of role for the product, teaching assistant, to make the platform more flexible for users.
• Helped to move the real time communication system from an in-house solution to using Firestore. Worked on communicating status from long-running background tasks to the user.
• Helped to add logging and instrumentation to the single-sign-on process to clarify where errors were occurring to drive refactoring.
