- Attending feasibility studies to confirm lamp design suitability for manufacture and provide estimated cycle times tooling and capital costs for the feasibility completion- Responsible for optimizing the component design suitable for the assembly process using lessons learnt Quality Tools- Design the assembly process visualising the cell design supporting documents required Process flow chart Process FMEA Process design front sheet (work balance) Line layout diagram- Establish accurate tooling and capital costs ensure the timing for equipment achieves project milestones- Produce funding authority by drafting and gaining approval of the capital project budget- Manage the purchase and the construction of the assembly equipment- Generate the space for the assembly cell- Generate the standardized work for the assembly consulting with other functions to optimize the Quality and Efficiency of the standardized work Safety and Ergonomics is a pre-requisite when standardized work is drafted- To commission tooling and machinery prior to delivery- Establish the assembly cell by installing the main equipment and auxiliary equipment- Take instruction from New Project Department for the design requirements for the finished goods packaging- Prepare prototype packaging sample and develop to internal and customer approval- Pass the packaging design to purchase and logistics to enable Quantity calculation and purchase to meet project milestones- Train production management of the assembly process- Develop the assembly process utilizing pre-production trials to achieve Quality Cycle Time Reliability KPI- Ensure the assembly cell performance can be sustained by identifying critical spares requirement and maintenance schedule

 Working on new projects as part of the Development Team Main role in BMW and Porsche projects Time planning and adjusting the schedule to the always changing demands and circumstances Bringing the product and tool development through the different prototype phases (BBG, PVL) till the serial production and SOP Allocate the work between in-house facilities and subcontractors Making Purchase Orders Handling shipments and transportation PPAP documentation, Gate system Secure that the products meet the requirements of the client and the ISO standards

 Responsible for mechanical design of the products (10 new product, several modification, ~25.000 product sold) Managing products during their whole lifecycle (developing the design, working in team with hardware developers and production specialists, keeping contact with suppliers and producers) Supporting the work of the Marketing Department (brochures, user manuals, exhibitions, product advertisements, presence on the internet)
