Supporting the Sales teams at Planet Payment by creating technical sales proposals, architecting the solutions and managing the Project Team and Operations teams to ensure the best DCC and Payment processing solutions are provided to Planet Payment customers.

Responsible for:• Planning and managing the launch of OneInterface, a software application that provide a global standard for integration of POS systems with payment terminals.• Managing the global deployment of OneInterface with internal and external partners, including merchants, POS vendors and terminal manufacturers.• Defining and managing the end-to-end processes required for OneInterface. Monitoring and improving these processes on an ongoing basis and ensure proper communication and execution of the processes, incl. the support structure around OneInterface.

Responsible for driving the implementation of new and emerging payment technologies at American Express, from the creation of the strategy through development to ongoing support and management.• Developed and maintain three-year strategy on emerging payment implementation.• Lead project managers and technologies teams as they upgrade the American Express infrastructure to support emerging payment technologies.• Provide subject matter expertise for chip card sales and relationship meetings with partner banks, service providers and strategic merchants.• Develop the American Express smart card specifications for both contact and contactless technology.• Represent American Express at industry forums and technical working groups to ensure the company’s interests are included as new specifications are developed, e.g., NFC Forum for mobile payments.• Develop and deliver technical and business training on emerging payment technology and its impacts.

In this position I was responsible for managing the implementation and support of chip cards on the GNS network and the analysis of new emerging technology. This included:• Creation of the networks implementation processes and tools, this included the creation of the device and partner messaging certification processes. • Writing the partner facing and internal Network documentation to support these new processes.• Project managing the upgrades of the technical infrastructure and tools used to support chip card implementation.• Providing consultancy and training to other groups within American Express on EMV and how it is implemented. • Development and communication of Network Policy on chip cards.

I was responsible for the Implementation of chip card acceptance into proprietary EMEA markets, including authorisations and submission systems upgrade, creation of procedures and policies, certification rollout and work with third parties and GNS partners. Specifically:• Project managing the upgrades to the internal Amex Authorisation and Submission systems and third party acquirers for EMEA markets to accept Amex chip cards data. • Creation of policies and procedures required with the introduction of chip cards• Provided training to various groups within American Express. • Represent American Express at local market banking associations
