I oversaw the day -to-day operations of all of the Computer Departments throughout the company. - Areas of responsibility included the following store locations; Tempe AZ, Phoenix AZ, Las Vegas NV, Renton WA, Wilsonville OR, Concord CA, Fremont CA, San Jose CA, Sunnyvale CA, Campbell CA, Palo Alto CA, Sacramento CA, Roseville CA and the Return to Vendor Processing division.- Traveled weekly to inspect and review the merchandising, operations, personnel of every computer department in the district. - Drafted quarterly sales, labor, and gross profit projections for every computer department in the company.- Developed and initiated policies and procedures that were put into place throughout the company.- Managed a team of 13 Computer Department Managers, 65 Computer Sales Supervisors, 26 Management Trainees, and over 1000 Computer department associates.- Worked with the Director of Computer Merchandising and Operations, as well as the Computer Buyers and Expediters to maintain inventory and merchandise throughout all of the computer departments.- Developed a merchandising map for all 35 stores in the company. Organized all of the schematics and areas of products into a merchandising map for each department manager..- Developed uniform schematics for merchandising all areas of the computer departments.- Developed an internal website used to maintain communication and allow accessibility of schematics and documents.- Attended weekly meetings with the Vice President of Merchandising, Operations and Advertising to review the previous/current weeks sales, gross profit and overall performance.
