I’m a German-Portuguese film director and producer based in Lisbon, Portugal.My personal work focuses on nature, the ocean, architecture, rural landscapes and the mood and feeling that these spaces evoke. My academic background in Film Studies & Music Technology gives me the references and inspirations I draw from. All these aspects and influences come together and inform my creative process and often translate into the commercial work that I do. I have directed commercial projects for Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz IO, Franco Sarto, Agobay, Lavazza’s Tierra Amazonia: The Final Season, featuring Ben Harper. I was the local producer and locations manager on BBC Studios’ Alien Planets (Netflix), Universe (BBC Earth), executive producer on the feature film Submission (HBO Max) and have produced various commercials, promos and branded films for local and international brands. In 2019 I founded my production company, House of Quest Films, through which I produce commercials, feature films, provide production services and develop original content.
