Successfully executed the start-up of a professional services systems integration practice within Nuix focused on enabling eDiscovery, Forensics, Law Enforcement, Regulatory and Information Governance clients and partners to more fully leverage the Nuix Engine by providing consultations on design, implementation and delivery using Nuix's Ruby, Java & RESTful APIs.Originated the Nuix Developer Training program including syllabus, all course materials, labs and certification test.Authored the initial proposal for and led implementation of http://developer.nuix.com from conception through release including hiring staff, coordination of infrastructure, authoring of knowledge base content and establishment of developer forums.

Moved into a development manager role while still contributing to the Nuix Visual Analytics codebase. Worked with the team to implement Agile development practices, continued staffing up to 15 team members. Delivered incremental releases of Nuix Visual Analytics while concurrently kicking off and leading development of the Nuix Luminate product for Information Governance and the Nuix Director product for eDiscovery. Luminate was delivered on time, under aggressive timelines and contributed to Nuix being named IG Solution of the Year, above IBM and HP/Autonomy by the New York Law Journal. Implementation of Director represented a major leap to the company's technology stack.

Hired by Nuix to work with the CTO as a "technical all-arounder" responsible for developing prototypes, working directly with clients, sales support, post-sales support, project work and miscellaneous development tasks. Prototyped a product that quickly evolved into the Nuix Visual Analytics application, gaining broad adoption across the Nuix customer base. Tasked with continuing development of the Nuix Visual Analytics product and was responsible for design, analysis, requirements elicitation, front end UI/UX development, server side development, QA, delivery & support. Stood up a first class development team including server side developers, UI/UX developers, test engineers, performance engineers, analysts and QA. This development team is now responsible for several applications in the Nuix product portfolio.Additionally played key roles in delivering successful client projects including a systems integration at AlphaLit and a massive eDiscovery exercise at a major U.S. bank. Responsible for supporting analysis efforts and translating user requirements into technical requirements in line with the AstraZeneca ISPDM software development lifecycle as well as system design and leadership of the technical team. Coordinated implementation efforts for this SharePoint based clinical document management system using NextDocs, KnowledgeLake, Arx CoSign, Adlib Express and Nintex. Responsible for design and documentation of custom integrations with existing AstraZeneca and MedImmune systems including submissions, archival and CTMS.

ConVerge Product Team – SharePoint Vertical SolutionContributed to both design and product strategy as the technical lead tasked with the creation of a SharePoint 2007 and 2010 snap-on product suite including web parts, features, exposure of services via WCF, lists, templates, receivers, user menus, context menus, themes, CAML,Workflows,Visual Studio extensions (VSIX), etc…Integrated PDF rendering, watermarking and overlay features into SharePoint 2010 via custom integration with Adlib. Created and maintained a robust set of build scripts using ANT, led local and offshore team development effort using Java, XML, XSLT, Documentum 5.3 SP3/SP6, SCS and Arbortext.Supported multiple departments, provided regular software updates, authored requirements and technical design documents, performed business process analysis, troubleshot technical, business and infrastructure issues, designed enhancements, supported operations and participated in the 2008 EMC World conference in Las Vegas.The Medversation project has achieved a high degree of success and has been featured in several articles including those from Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and other pharmaceutical industry publications.
