Founded and launched United Edge - an innovative social enterprise focused on systemic change and global justice. Everything we do is centred on the Justice Based Approach, developed from our work with thousands of change-makers around the world as a new lens to support professionals and activists to go deeper and think bigger. Our focus has been on catalyzing a shift in power in development and social change and developing resilient, alternative models for our future that can pave the way for better mitigating the challenges we face as a species. Importantly, my work has also involved ensuring a flat and justice-based structure within all United Edge projects so that we ourselves can reflect the values we share with the world and resist the urge to hold onto power.

Designed and facilitated an innovative capacity-building programme in results-based, participatory approaches to social change and development delivered across nine countries with diverse participants. Led a number of youth-led projects with Palestinian girls in the occupied Palestinian territories that focused on Child Rights education and participatory advocacy and advised a number of NGOs on strategy, programmes and fundraising.

Key member of the Programme Unit's leadership team with oversight for delivery and strategic leadership of the organisation's largest global programme and key contributor to the global strategy. Included coordination between multiple teams across nine countries in order to drive programme performance and quality across the organisation and deliver against our global strategy. Responsible for overseeing the creation of innovative, replicable programme models for direct delivery, active citizenship and personal development of young people while building and heading-up the organisation’s Programme Support Team, leading on capacity building, support, and sharing and learning across country teams. Previously Programme Development Manager focusing on programme design and M&E.

London, United Kingdom

Responsible for ensuring high quality design and delivery of the pioneer ICS programme in eight countries across Africa and Asia including providing capacity building and support in all areas of programme design. Responsible for developing and implementing and integrated M&E system and to contributing to the International Youth Engagement strategy as a member of the management committee.

East Jerusalem

Implementing English language and youth empowerment programmes, cultural awareness and professional training to Palestinian women, girls and young people in East Jerusalem neighbourhoods. Includes Human Rights education, facilitating participatory advocacy and community service projects as well as leadership skills and professional development for young people. Responsible for all designing, monitoring and evaluation of activities and objectives.

East Jerusalem

Provided support and expertise to the Children Affected by Armed Conflict (Israel/oPt) working group, chaired by UNICEF. Responsible for ensuring Israeli participation in the Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism, laying the foundations for a monitoring system of grave violations of child rights inside Israel. Includes working closely with government officials and NGOs and the reporting of grave violations of Education Rights to the UN Security Council. Participated in MRM Working Group meetings and training in International Human Rights Law.

Palestinian Territory, Israel

Responsible for the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation aspect of the Middle East programme and for capacity building and training of local partners in Child Rights programming. Took an active role in many aspects of the programme in both the Middle East and in Amsterdam including strategic decision making, advocacy initiatives and representing the organisation in regional fora.

Jerusalem

Designed and managed a political and human rights education and active citizenship programme for young people. Based on hands on experiences in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, the programme aimed to engage young people in global issues of justice while sharing some of the complexities of the region. Responsible for strategy, marketing and communications, and implementation of the programme including security and logistics.

Founding member of grassroots organisation focused on the rights of the Bedouin communities of the Naqab region. Volunteered in a variety of roles including project development, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, public relations, campaigning and advocacy. Represented the organisation in the media, with the government and at events in both Israel and the UK.
