This encompassed a range of tasks and accomplishments:Initially hired to manage the installation of DSLAM project for the 3 southern states of Brazil, after 1 month also, took over the GPON project and after 4 months the DWDM and Microwave projects for the entire southern region.During the months of August/2009 and September/2009, I was also responsible for cleaning up the 3G (cellular) implementation project in Rio Grande Sul. A project of high technical complexity and with a very short schedule and dependent on weather conditions. The project was completed successfully, within the schedule and due to this performance, and the performances of the DSLAM, GPON, DWDM and Microwave projects were awarded, in an internal evaluation, the grade “A” in project excellence, relative to the first half of 2009.Due to the technical background developed at Nokia Siemens Networks, in February 2009 I was invited to implement the triple-play solution over GPON for Infovias in B.H.. Among the triple-play, an interworking with the voice platform from Nokia Siemens Networks, interworking with Net's video platform and interworking with Telemig's data network. This was a very complex project due to the interworking of all 3 platforms involved in the project and the short deadline for implementation. -
Development Mid. EngineerNokia Siemens Networks Oct 2004 - Sep 2008In this role, I have gaining extensive expertise in Telecom equipment. The key achievements during this period include:Technical coordinator of the Telefônica Chile project, where interworking between the TDM and SIP platforms was carried out with a SIP server. In this project was responsible for solving part of the interworking problems and handling failures on the SIP platform. The main activity carried out was the investigation of problems in the SIP and MEGACO protocols due to the variety of facilities available on the platform.International experience in Munich/Germany. For 6 months I was responsible for part of the development and approval of a Media Gateway version for Embratel (finished in Dec/07).Troubleshooting equipment on the NGN platform for Telefônica Chile, in the city of Santiago del Chile. The trip was originally to solve problems with the installation server (Solaris) of the PCU (packet control unit), it was not possible to install the PCU due to a problem with the installation server, this problem was resolved quickly however, more problems were encountered, problems (Spanning tree protocol enabled on some ports), cable connection problems on the core equipment, communication problem with the PCU interface and core equipment (MBDE). During the stay it was possible to resolve all problems within a period of 7 days. During May / June 2007, I participated in a trip to Nicaragua to resolve problems on the NGN platform again – Problems related to average call duration, RTP (voice) packets were being forwarded with the Body empty. Which caused the calls to be voiceless. On this trip there was a need to enable the redundancy procedure on 2 routers in production. On this occasion, weekly meetings were held with the client to monitor problem resolution. The reported problems were resolved and acceptance was monitored by the customer.
