Daniel Blanco Albert works as resident composer and co artistic director at Infinite Opera, composing brand new chamber operas in the style of a sub-genre he has named as "Craft Opera". Thanks to this work he also collaborates with the Welsh National Opera as a workshop co-leader in a project of creation of new opera with teenagers in the midlands Dani graduated in Composition at both Birmingham and Valencia conservatoires achieving in the latest the prestigious "Premi Final de Grau en Composició". He also go awarded a Leverhulme Arts Scholarship for his Masters in Composition (distinction). He is now starting a PhD funded with a M4C Doctoral Award. Dani has worked in numerous theatre productions and artistic installations around Europe working with renowned directors such as Stephen Simms, Lise Olson or Aleksandar Dundjerovic, participating, among others in the Prague quadrennial. He also collaborates with Joan Enric Lluna and the ensemble Moonwinds in recovering music from the Valencia patrimony, re-orchestrating pieces by composers such as Manuel Palau or Salvador Giner.
