The project involved the coordinated delivery ofvarious mechanical equipment manufactured in VIC,NSW and WA.• Project Manager for 8 x 10 tonne isolation gates forRio Tinto Brockman 4 Project dealing with CalibreProjects. Size of the gates presented material supplychallenges with sourcing the oversize 100mm plate.• Co-designer of an Iron Ore Pilot Plant for Hancock.3D modeling and detailing of structure andmechanical equipment including screens, conveyorsbelt filter, hydro cyclone and spirals. Designed usingSolidworks.• Dealing with clients and suppliers on a daily basis ontechnical and contractual issues.

• Using solidworks, designed the drive mechanism for aremote controlled machine (Intelligent PIG) whichtravels through oil pipelines counter flow, surveyingfor damage. Scottish Executive funded research anddevelopment project.• Designed a flexible coupling which can transmittorque and join electrical wiring and hydraulics.• Working with electrical engineers used solidworks todevelop the layout of an explosion proof electricalbox.

Project was rewardedwith a government grant to continue development.• Development of a tip truck safety valve from thedesign stage through marketing to production stage.Setup of a production line using lean manufacturingtechniques such as Kan Ban• Redesign of an underground explosives unit for aclient (Dyno Nobel).• Co-design and project management of a $AUD 300000 automated baler press for a can manufacturer inMelbourne• Designed a range of brochures and posterspromoting the company's products using rendered 3Dsolidworks models with Adobe Photoshop .Thesewere used in the company stand at the AustralianNational Truck Show• Produced quality 3D animations showing theoperation of company products (pump and tippersafety valve) for viewing by interested customers(also shown at truck show).• Other projects including 3D design and modeling ofTYNECAT (rapid container loader), small soil test drillrig and hydraulic reservoirs.
