As the Chief Executive Officer of Farosson, Daniel leads a passionate team of professionals to pioneer a business that provides advisory, investment and asset management services, leveraging on his extensive experience spearheading business partnerships, corporate investments and transactions, especially within the sustainability, infrastructure, real estate and technology space.Daniel has 20 years of proven experience in corporate development and executive management, including equity and debt fund raising, investments, merger and acquisitions, business and financing partnerships, strategy development, corporate legal, governance, risk management and compliance, sustainability, corporate communications, tax, treasury and finance. He has extensive experience in originating, executing and concluding investments and fundraising activities that generate more than USD30b order book and cash flow.He started his career in international audit and advisory firms, then moved on to a real estate investment fund, managing investments. In 2011, he joined Yinson as General Manager, Corporate Finance and Strategy Development, before taking the role of Group Chief Strategy Officer & Head of Group Corporate Advisory from 2014 to 2022. Daniel played an instrumental role in Yinson’s growth, particularly in driving the transition from a logistics and trading company to the current global energy infrastructure, renewables and technology company.Daniel is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK), gold medalist, as well as Chartered Accountant with both Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He also holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Financial Accounting with Distinction and Book Prize from Tunku Abdul Rahman University Of Management and Technology.A great believer in continued personal development, Daniel will be graduating in 2023 with a Master of Business Administration from London School of Economics, NYU Stern, HEC Paris. He also holds a Master of Science with Distinction in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Gloucestershire and is an alumni of the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme. In addition, he received Executive Certificates in Strategy & Innovation, Technology & Operations and Management & Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management.
