Managing the logistics of providing home to school transport to Monmouthshire Primary, Secondary and Further Education pupilsAchievements:•Vast improvement in contractor performance against the terms of the transport contract. A better and more customer focused service provision that proved effective in meeting the goals of the program was achieved through streamlining of numerous administrative, compliance and financial procedures

Led the provision of advice to Government on competition policy, internet and broadband policy and international telco policyAchievements:•Negotiated the solution to the final stage of Telstra’s Internet Assistance Program obligation•Provided Minister with in depth summary of the ACCC's ruling on Access Pricing and Model Terms and Conditions for access negotiations in the Australian Telco market

Responsibilities included:•Led the ACCC’s work on codes of conduct, liaising with small business on obligations under the Trade Practices Act 1974. Achievements:•Completed drafting and publication of guide for Small Business to the Unconscionable Conduct laws under the Trade Practices Act 1974•Through applying codes rules strictly and by education, the industry achieved a significant change to accurate labelling of fruit juice

Achievements•Member of the Australian Compliance Institute - regularly involved in working parties and stakeholder groups related to compliance issues. Giving presentations on behalf of the ACCC was a significant role in this position•Member of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals (SOCAP)•Regular presenter to industry on compliance education as part of risk management strategies. Considered leading authority on Trade Practices Compliance and Codes of Conduct

Achievements:•Member a team that successfully investigated and litigated against cartel activity in the Australian Power and Distribution Transformer Industry. The case netted in excess of AUD $30 million in fines from the Federal Court

Achievements:•Successfully negotiated and drafted the ACCC Certified Agreement with staff. This document codified all HR Policy and staff entitlements for the Commission and had to be agreed upon by staff, management and the unions
