Overall accountability to store performance in all key initiatives with an increased focus on promoting customer service and retaining current customer base. My focus has been to create a store environment where customers feel welcomed, have an excellent experience and plan a return trip to enjoy one of our many national events. I have also worked to develop staff within the store. Retail is in need of retaining staff by choosing the best candidate for an open position, training them well and developing them to perform at the next level. Control payroll and other operational expenses to deliver a high profit margin while managing day to day tasks and business growth. Always working to think outside of the box and create merchandising standards that would deliver additional sales with the key focus being cross-merchandising.
