As Brand Manager for Goldcross Cycles I managed the transition of the Goldcross Cycles standalone business into the store in store concept. During this time I had direct involvement in the rollout, store engagement, visual merchandising standards, store ranging and team training. My key duties included.• Overseeing the roll out and performance of thirty-five new store in store concepts• Extensive travel throughout Australia completing new store set-ups and in store training.• Creation of visual merchandising documents for new store set up teams to ensure consistency across the network.• Assisting the development and implementation of sales and promotional programs to increase performance.• Managing the ongoing training and professional development of two state based cycling workshop trainers. • Demonstrating the ability to consistently meet or exceed all sales and profitability targets. • Creation of training plans including face-to-face and online sales/product training modules to support the team and improve the customer experience. • Working closely with the retail and merchandise teams to formulate strategic plans for the category including range realignment to suit the Amart customer demographic.• Provide feedback and action plans to the retail team to improve store standards.• Build community relationships through ongoing support of organisations such as Cycling Victoria.

As an Area Manager for Goldcross Cycles I enjoyed being an integral part of the senior management team tasked with leading the business through a changing period in the Australian retail market. My key responsibilities include:• Overseeing the performance of 11 stores • Management of a sales budget of a multimillion dollar business • Coordinating the development and implementation of sales and local area marketing strategies to increase performance.• Managing the ongoing training and professional development of senior team members within each store. This helps develop a highly capable team that can deliver on corporate objectives and sales targets.• Demonstrating the ability to consistently meet or exceed all sales targets. Working closely with human resources to ensure the support and placement of all affected team members.
