As Head of Reactor and senior operator, I led the strategic direction of reactor operations, overseeing human resources, specialized training, and licensing. My role included managing irradiation services, the supply of radioactive sources, and ensuring safe operation and maintenance.

Analysed and issued technical report for numerous Final Safety Analysis Reports (RFA), requirement for licensing of any radioactive or nuclear facility in Brazil. Developed and performed integration to issue the first version of IPR-R1 reactor strategic plan.Licensed user of SCALE system and MCNP nuclear code. Has experience in shielding calculations, dose calculations and criticality safety analysis.Used Dakota statistical kit and SCALE Sampler to propagate uncertainty from nuclear data and from manufacturing uncertainties to integral parameters of nuclear fuel IRT-4M and MTR. Performed calculations of neutron flux, perturbations in the core, power dissipation and burnup to the development of New Brazilian Multipurpose Reactor (RMB) irradiation loop. Analysed and issued technical advice to various documents from the vendor of basic engineering of the RMB (INVAP) in the areas of criticality safety analysis, determination of the source term, estimation of activity and shielding.Calculated gaseous fission products/ source-term worst case for the fuel element of the TRIGA-IPR-R1 for licensing purposes. Operated Sparks, Identifinder and Backpack equipment during official radiological and nuclear security operations for FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 and FIFA 2014 World Cup games. Professor in the discipline "Neutronic codes for nuclear reactors" at CDTN post-graduation course.
