I've lead the development of major marketplace product initiatives to dramatically increase the rate at which visitors match with and apply to partner institutions, as a result, our marketplace has seen 4x YoY revenue growth to an 8-figure ARR.

RaiseMe was acquired by CampusLogic in July 2020.Built products to improve college outcomes and affordability for millions of students across the nation.During my time as product lead at RaiseMe:• Built core product with growth from 30,000 to 2,500,000+ high school users• Expanded from just a handful of pilot colleges to over 300 paying colleges and universities• 85% of RaiseMe students reported feeling more motivated to get better grades• 62% felt motivated to take on additional leadership roles in high school• 81% felt more confident about their likelihood to succeed in collegeI accomplished the above with a small, agile team from Seed funding through Series B.Responsibilities included long-term strategy and vision planning, designing new products from the ground up to solve student and college problems, working directly with development, design, marketing, and sales teams, go-to-market strategy, product team mentorship.Notable products and launches I owned:• Took iOS app from zero to launch - boasts 4.8 star average, over 1,000,000 downloads and multiple App Store editorial features• Complete overhaul of our core product with clarity, focus, and viral growth in mind - led to significant improvements in student engagement and interest in partner colleges• Likelihood-to-admit model, which gives one of the industry's best estimates of student college admissions chances• College recommendation engine, which creates "Netflix-like" college recommendations for students - attributed to major boosts in student engagement and college discovery activity - 67% of students considered applying to colleges that were previously unknown to them• Educator and partner portals• Student earnings tracker which dramatically decreased student financing confusion and support desk tickets

(Edmodo was acquired in 2018)• Led development and design of core products at Edmodo, a social learning network, as it grew from 600,000 to 65 million+ users.• Responsibilities included road-mapping, designing user flows, managing development and design teams, coordinating product launch efforts with marketing and sales initiatives, ensuring COPPA/FERPA compliance, building products to ensure student privacy and safety.• Managed product strategy for major site and brand modernization efforts.• Led design and development of Edmodo's iOS and Android apps, both of which have repeatedly reached the top-ranked position in the education category of their respective stores.• Managed product for Snapshot, Edmodo's formative assessment platform–one of the fastest-growing ed-tech products of all time.• Led product monetization tests.

• Co-created, designed, and lead the development of PlaySay, a social game which became a #1 ranking iPhone app in Education in the US, Spain, and Mexico.• Initiated analytics-driven and user test-driven development post-release to determine milestone prioritization, idea generation, and product roadmap.• Grew DAU/MAU from 17% in version 1.0 to 34% in version 1.4, and increased day-one user retention by 12% in five weeks.• Created, modified, pitched, and implemented product wireframes to a cross-functional development/production team.• Produced and lead the development of three experimental web apps utilizing the Facebook Graph API.• Developed in Objective-C, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Ruby-on Rails on several analytics/data-heavy projects.
