Years ago I founded and operated a business whose by-product was waste plastic, I learned the harsh truth behind current plastic recycling practices. So little is recycled and all the rest end up in landfills or our environment. With a resource as thermally viable as natural gas why throw it away? So with the culmination of my experiences and previous careers, I was determined to invent a method to harness the next black gold, waste plastic. I have now founded Caris Inc., developed and patented (#11306916, #11635205) the processes within the Carismatic Generator, that utilizes waste plastic as its only fuel source. I have been a Mechanic, Millwright, Mechanical Engineer, Jig and Fixture Engineer, Production Manager, Director of Engineering and Development, Senior Mechanical Engineer and Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a large multinational Corporation. Have been a Senior Manufacturing Engineer Member in Good Standing with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers from 1985 until 2000.I have been producing inventive prototypes and streamlining manufacturing. In 1982 I patented and invented a compact folding lifting hoist for engines, or any heavy object. In 1999 invented a pool sweep backup valve, patented in the US and Foreign in December 2000. I've also co-invented a traction indicating device which was patented in 2008. I began building Grand American NASCAR modified race cars when I was young and later, engineered, manufactured and sold Nascar Grand American Modified race cars. I designed and built a prototype military vehicle for the US Air Force. I have obtained many certificates and am versed in the many facets of production, such as welding, milling and electronics. Furthermore, I have been an independent Project Consultant for various manufacturing and commercial companies doing production management and employee training. I have spent time self-employed, consulting with clients to develop patents, prototypes, engineering packages and manufacturing processes for their custom needs. I worked for Specialty Products Company, a Tier 1 Automotive Products Supplier and Manufacturer, as their Prototype and Development Production Manager. I attended California State University, San Jose Mechanical Engineering and also acquired Technical Education Teaching Credentials through the State of California.
